I qualified as a Psychosynthesis Counsellor in 2006, after I finished studying a post-graduate diploma at the Psychosynthesis & Education Trust in London.
The course was approved by The University of East London, and I went on to graduate in November 2006.
My first placement was with the Wandsworth Bereavement Service (in Clapham Junction, London), and subsequently was offered placements with the Mayday NHS University Hospital, where I counselled staff members at the East Croydon location. Moving from London to Gillingham, I with the Psychology Department of the Medway Maritime NHS Hospital.
I have done much voluntary work with several charitable services including MIND , (the mental health charity), and the Samaritans, in the Medway area. As I have now successfully relocated to Hove, I intend to re-join both charities later this year.
As Assagioli suggests, the relationship between client and counsellor is the most significant part of the therapeutic relationship. It is very important that you feel as comfortable as possible working with me and that if you have any misgivings, you are able to let me know.
